Medication evaluation
and management
Leslie Lartey, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, DNP, PMHNp-bc, fnp-BC
Unforeseen circumstances befall us all—and when they run deep, they can quietly impair our ability to thrive. My goal isn’t just to medicate symptoms but to truly understand what’s beneath them—so we can build practical, lasting strategies for healing, even when the past can’t be changed.
I’m a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a strong foundation in both mental and physical health. Since 2015, I’ve worked with patients across the lifespan—young adults, older adults, and those with complex medical and psychiatric needs. My clinical background spans nephrology, dialysis, hospital medicine, outpatient care, intensive care, and nursing homes. I’ve also spent six years as a nursing instructor, teaching with clarity, empathy, and a focus on real-world care.
In our work together, I combine psychotherapy and pharmacologic support when necessary, always rooted in conversation, collaboration, and compassion. Healing isn’t just about reducing symptoms—it’s about reconnecting with yourself, building insight, and finding sustainable tools to move forward.
Come see me. Let’s talk. You don’t have to navigate it alone.
